Appliqué embroidered. Appliqué which has been taken from French word means to put on. One layer of fabric is placed on another layer of fabric and is sewn in place. Appliqué opens a whole new design world to the quilter allowing for many more possibilities than just piecing alone. Leaf design spread all over the quilt. Made in 100% fine cotton fabric having cotton fill & hand quilted. Machine wash.
